2 cups flour
1Tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup cold butter, cut into small cubes
¾ cup milk
Preheat oven to 425 F. In food processor, blend together dry ingredients, then add butter and blend until the mix resembles corn meal. With the machine on, slowly add milk till dough ball just barely starts to form (you might only need just over ½ cup of milk. Lightly dust round pizza pan with flour and roll out directly on the pan.
Note: If you do not have a food processor (or one big enough), the recipe can be made in a regular mixing bowl, but softened butter should be used instead of cold.
Add desired sauce (we use prego spaghetti sauce; beware the many use soybean oil) and toppings.
Bake at 425 F for 12 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes before cutting.
For biscuits, follow same recipe except roll the dough out to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into shapes. Same baking procedure, makes about 8.
